The Woodlawn Little League community joined Fairfax County officials on November 16, 2024 to celebrate the grand opening of our new restroom and concession building at McNaughton Fields Park.

The $1 million facility—featuring permanent restrooms, a climate-controlled concession stand, and storage space—marks the realization of a vision that began when the park was established in 2016. The project was made possible through a public-private partnership, with WLL families and supporters raising $200,000 toward construction costs.

"This project really was about a public-private partnership," said Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck at the ribbon cutting. "I hope we can do more of these kinds of things because I think they make a difference for all of us."

The new facility will allow McNaughton Fields to host tournament play, including the Virginia District 9 Little League 8-10 district games in June 2026. A grand opening celebration is planned as part of WLL's 60th anniversary season.
