No child will be turned away due to inability to pay.

Woodlawn Little League is committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to play baseball or softball, regardless of financial situation. All requests for assistance are handled confidentially.

Option 1: Woodlawn Little League Assistance

If you need help with registration fees but don't qualify for the programs below, contact us directly at [email protected]. We'll work with you to find a solution.

Option 2: Fairfax County Youth Sports Scholarship

Fairfax County offers scholarships for families currently enrolled in public assistance programs.

Eligibility requirements:

• Child must live in Fairfax County and be enrolled in K-12
• Family must participate in a public assistance program such as: Free/Reduced Lunch, Medicaid, TANF, or Foster Care
• Player must commit to attending at least 80% of practices and games
• Child must not be receiving another scholarship or fee waiver for this activity

How to apply:

1. Download and complete the scholarship application: English | Español
2. Gather proof of assistance (copy of benefit letter, school lunch approval, or counselor signature on the form)
3. Upload both documents during registration on our website

Option 3: National Scholarship Programs

These programs provide assistance to families nationwide:

• T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant — Covers registration fees for families facing financial hardship. 2026 applications open January 15, 2026.
• DICK'S Sporting Goods / Every Kid Sports — Helps cover registration fees and equipment costs for families enrolled in SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, or Foster Care.
